HEIDI

Heidi Lauckhardt-Rhoades grew up in Boca Raton. A lifelongvolunteer and organizer, Lauckhardt-Rhoades’ commitment to community soaredafter the birth of her children.  Abeliever in the “it takes a village” philosophy, Heidi and her family regularlysupport organizations such as the Caring Kitchen, Peter Blum YMCA of BocaRaton, the Treasure Box Project, Best Foot Forward, Jack the Bikeman, and PalmBeach County Environmental Resources Management.

 

Heidi works as a group fitness instructor teaching dance,Kinderdance, Pilates, aqua, aqua barre, and TRX to children and adults.  A lifelong learner, Rhoades implementsa variety of modalities into each class including Somatics, circus fitness,dance and gymnastics conditioning. Students range from preschoolers to ninety year olds; rehabilitationpatients to elite athletes (Florida Memorial University Men’s Soccer Team). Herphilosophy embodies freedom, developing physical literacy, and providing aunique experience for each participant in her class.

 

In addition to being the mother of two young children, Heidi isalso a journalist, social media correspondent and contributor toTrampolineblogs.com and ABCD Eat Right, a nutritional website devoted to thehealth and well-being of children. Heidi is also a seasoned volunteer soccer and basketball coach for theYMCA. 

 Heidi believes in the power of community andthe importance of physical movement in establishing strong community ties. Her mission is to bring joy, a sense ofliberation and physical literacy to all.
